Glass half empty or half full?
Some of the guys I work with are really weirded out when they know I'm pumping at work. They hate it when they have to knock on the door and ask me a question about what to do with one of my patients, or to tell me when they are ready for me. They especially hate it when they see me come out of the room with my attachments in hand as I head to the break room to clean them. I'm not shy about it so it doesn't bother me at all.
Others choose to make the best of it and tease me about it. I came to work one day to find that someone had made me a sign to put on the door when I go pump--complete with biohazard symbol and picture of cookies and milk.

I thought it was hysterical anyway.

When Daddy Dresses Me
This was back when Hadley was 5 weeks old and not yet going to daycare. I came home from work to find her hanging out with daddy like this...
Let's be honest... I'm actually surprised he even decided to take her our of her pajamas and get her dressed. When I was home with her I didn't even always bother to do that for her or myself.

"Momma! SISSY!"
My sweet Caden! He loves Hadley and wants to help take care of her. I realize that will probably stop once she starts playing with his toys.
It can get pretty chaotic around the house sometimes with two kids under the age of two but I'm so glad they are only 19 months apart. I think it will be fun to watch them play together, learn together and challenge each other! Caden so badly wants Hadley to play with him already. He likes to go lie next to her when she is on this mat. Can you say adorable?
He also gets very concerned when she cries. He usually runs to me, taps my arm and says, "momma! SISSY!". He then runs back to her to comfort her with a pacifier if there is one nearby or he just rubs her leg. He's also done this with the ladies at daycare.
Anyone need a babysitter?

Fort Worth Zoo
Recently we took the kids to the zoo for the first time. We loaded up with my parents and met up with Dusty, Melanie, Troy and Dylan.
My mom's carseat doesn't have much head support for a sleeping kiddo--but I got him fixed right up!
The restaurant is in the back of this little gas station. The food was really good and the bread pudding was even better (not quite as good as mimi's though).
Caden's interest at the zoo was limited. Mostly because he missed his nap.

It was pretty hot and humid this day--Hadley wasn't handling it too well so we had to strip her down.
It was after I took this picture of my family that I noticed the animal was pooping. Here's to awkward family photos!

Easter Weekend 2012
Ty and Caden
Caden and Kache love bubbles--and their Nonny

So maybe Cody and I were more interested in Caden's egg hunting than he was...he would rather wave at the car driving by.
They were both fairly grumpy at this point but I was determined to start our Easter picture tradition.
Miss Hadley--4 weeks old
Only picture of momma this weekend. Cody caught me struggling to pick up an egg...I blame the mastitis that set in that day.

Canola
My dad and uncle are in a farming/ranching business together. They are primarily wheat farmers but recently have started rotating other crops into their fields. This is from one of their canola fields. It was my first time to ever see canola. It has beautiful yellow flower blooms! These pictures just don't do it justice, it actually looks almost iridescent when the sun is shining on it!
I decided to try and get a few pictures of Hadley out in the canola since we were going out to check it out anyway. I regretted not having any pictures of Caden in his first few weeks of life because they change so much every day at that age. The pictures didn't turn out great (Hadley didn't like the wind or she would get hungry, etc.) but we had a good time while we were out!

Such a big boy now--he likes to help.
We figured out where Caden gets his tongue thing.
I love this picture because this is one way I will always remember my parents-- Dad making a goofy joke or comment and mom just laughing at him.
Such a gentleman!
